Where you are now is exactly where you are supposed to be. Rebecca’s classes and trainings focus on bringing your attention to the present moment, and finding contentment wherever you are. Life is a journey, and everything happens when it is supposed to happen. So enjoy where you are, because you will only be there once.
Awareness
By cultivating self-awareness, Rebecca’s teachings empower students to honor their bodies, allowing for a lifelong, sustainable yoga practice. However, she also encourages students to safely challenge themselves both physically and mentally, in order to gain the full benefits of yoga.
Balance
Balance in yoga means more than just standing on one foot. Rebecca teaches in a way that allows students to find balance not only on the mat, but off the mat as well. She encourages her students to embrace the challenges in the practice, to learn from them and grow from them, and then to apply what they learn to their lives. There is equal beauty in what is difficult and easy, in the yin and the yang, in the dark and light, and the goal is to fine to find peace at both ends of the spectrum.
Get to know Rebecca
Rebecca’s classes weave yogic philosophy with asana, pranayama, and meditation. Her teaching and trainings honor the history and tradition of the centuries old-practice of yoga, while also recognizing that we exist in the 21st century. She has been leading yoga teacher trainings since 2018 throughout Maryland and Delaware.
